Senegal's Youssou N'Dour: 'I'm going to win this election'

One of Africa's most famous musicians, Senegalese star Youssou N'Dour, has decided to stand in his country's presidential elections in February. He will be running against incumbent President Abdoulaye Wade.

Best known for his global hit 7 Seconds with Neneh Cherry in 1994, N'Dour said the people of Senegal have urged him to turn to politics.

He said they wanted something new and he would be the candidate to deliver this change.
