Mugabe sings to court young Zimbabwe voters

No date has been set yet for Zimbabwe's elections - expected at some stage next year - but politicians are using every trick in the book to woo voters.

President Robert Mugabe, who turns 88 in three months, has released a musical jingle in which he sings to court the country's many young voters.

In the song he attacks Zimbabwe's former white rulers and says more must be done about black economic empowerment.

As the BBC's Brian Hungwe reports from Harare for our Network Africa programme, the jingle is getting a lot of play on the state broadcaster.
