DR Congo refugees resist going home for polls

Help

The border region between the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic and Congo-Brazzaville has seen mass displacement of population in the past two years.

Ahead of elections in November, the DR Congo government wants its nationals to come back home, but the refugees say they will only trust the UN refugee agency to tell them when it is safe to do so.

In many cases, the UN agencies say "not yet".

The BBC's Thomas Hubert reports.
