Kenya's Masai people swap spears for a bat
Kenya lost all of their World Cup cricket matches and bowed out at the group stage.
But new plans to promote the sport among Kenya's Masai people could help unearth new sporting stars to reverse the country's cricketing decline.
Francis Ole Mishene has swapped his spear for a bat. He told the BBC that cricket would be a good game for Masai warriors, because bowling was very similar to throwing spears.
Student Masheha Abubakr says concentrating on cricket helps girls think less about marriage at a young age.
Kevin Mwachiro reports.
