US special envoy: 'Mubarak must stay for now'
For the first time since Egypt erupted into political crisis nearly two weeks ago, the United States has indicated it may be willing for President Hosni Mubarak to remain in office temporarily.
President Obama's special envoy to Egypt, Frank Wisner, told the international security conference in Germany, that Mr Mubarak was needed to oversee a transition to democracy.
