Egyptian protester describes the political unrest in Cairo

Thousands of people in Egypt have been taking part in demonstrations, demanding an end to President Mubarek's regime.

Gigi Ibrahim is a protestor in Cairo, and describes events to BBC Radio 5 live. "There are people on the streets demanding change in Egypt."

"They are very determined to continue the protests," Ibrahim tells Tony Livesey. "It's an escalation since yesterday."
