Family mourn 'martyr' as Tunisia's revolution gains pace

More high ranking officials in Tunisia have been placed under house arrest and demonstrators are still taking to the streets to keep the former president's allies out of power.

Some of the protesters come from the town of Sidi Bouzid, home of Mohamed Bouazizi, the young fruit vendor who set himself on fire after he was humiliated by the authorities.

Mohamed Bouazizi is now hailed a local hero.

The BBC's Lyse Doucet has been to Sidi Bouzid to meet his family.
