'Challenging' Ramadan in Norway as day lasts 20 hours

23 July 2014 Last updated at 00:16 BST

Norway is often referred to as 'the land of the midnight sun'. For Muslims here, fasting during Ramadan is a particular challenge.

There are over 200,000 Muslims in Norway and their numbers are increasing.

BBC Urdu's Qandeel Shaam reports on how the unusually long days there affect the community.
