Twins reunited for the first time after almost 80 years

2 May 2014 Last updated at 06:36 BST

Twins who were separated as babies in Aldershot back in 1936 have been reunited for the first time.

Ann Hunt, who lives in Hampshire, had no idea she had a sibling at all until last year.

She has now met her twin Elizabeth Hamel, who lives in the US, for the first time since they were babies - setting a new world record.

Peter Bowes was in California to see the moment when they were brought together.
