Life on board 'Syria chemical weapons' warship

7 January 2014 Last updated at 18:40 GMT

An international effort is under way to remove and destroy Syria's most dangerous chemical weapons.

The first consignment of Syrian chemical weapons materials left the country on a Danish ship on Tuesday.

The BBC's Anna Holligan spent time on board Norwegian vessel HNoMS Helge Ingstad, shortly before being removed following a media blackout.

Before she left the frigate, she filmed this piece about what life is like for the crew on board.
