Will election unite or divide Kenya?

Help

Kenyans are gearing up to vote next month in an election that is being watched with some apprehension - ethnic violence that erupted after the last election five years ago killed over 1,000 people.

Its legacy is still felt - not only have there been more clashes recently, but some of those standing for election are suspected of involvement in atrocities committed after the last vote.

Karen Allen reports for Newsnight on an election that could again expose Kenya's ethnic divide.
