Japanese journalist killed in the Syrian city of Aleppo
A Japanese journalist, Mika Yamamoto, has been killed in the conflict-torn Syrian city of Aleppo, Tokyo has confirmed.
Ms Yamamoto, 45, was a war correspondent with the Japan Press news agency.
She was with her husband, also a colleague, when she was killed.
