As part of the London Calling season, BBC World Service has been discovering some of the quirkier areas of the Olympic city.

In this episode Wafaa Ghaly from BBC Arabic visits Edgware road, a magnet for the city's Arabic community.

The scent of flavoured tobacco hangs in the air in a road famous for its Middle Eastern restaurants.
