As part of the London Calling season, BBC World Service has been discovering some of the quirkier areas of the Olympic city.

In this second episode, Thomas Pappon from BBC Brasil visits Whitechapel.

The streets stalked by Jack the Ripper have for generations been a haven for immigrants.

More recently they have become an oasis of vintage fashion.
