Driver Matt Hagan escapes Hot Rod drag race explosion unharmed

A drag racer has escaped unharmed after his car exploded and burst into flames on Sunday.

Matt Hagan walked away after the vehicle disintegrated around him during a qualifying race in Charlotte, North Carolina, as the BBC's David Eades explains.
