Dominique Strauss-Kahn faces vice ring charges

Former International Monetary Fund boss Dominique Strauss-Kahn is facing charges in France over alleged involvement in a prostitution ring.

Mr Strauss-Kahn was placed under formal investigation by magistrates in Lille.

Speaking to reporters one of Mr Strauss-Kahn's lawyers, Richard Malka, said that the former French minister isn't denying that he attended the parties, but he says he didn't know the women present were prostitutes.
