Paul Conroy: International community needs to act now on Syria
British photographer Paul Conroy, who was smuggled out of Homs by Syrian rebels, says it is critical to keep the pressure on the regime to stop the violence.
Conroy, originally from Liverpool but who now lives in Devon, was injured in an attack in Homs which killed two journalists.
Speaking over the phone, he told the BBC the people on the ground in the Syrian town of Baba Amr had lost much of their hope.
