Tanker truck blaze on US freeway
Thick, black smoke surged skyward after a tanker truck caught fire in California.
It happened on the eastbound Pomona Freeway in Montebello.
Two people in the cab of the truck managed to get out safely.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the truck's brakes may have overheated.
