'Seven billionth' baby is born
A baby has been born in the Phillippines, becoming the "seven billionth" person in the world.
She has been showered with gifts and attention. But she is not the only baby to be given that honour - there are a string of symbolic "baby seven billions" right around the globe, on a day the UN has chosen to highlight the world's soaring population.
The figure has doubled in the last 50 years - and the UN estimates we'll see baby eight billion by 2025.
Emily Buchanan reports.
