Every week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week it's school days to mark BBC TV's school season. Sue Beasley says: "When I was at school you signed an autograph book - now they sign shirts when they leave."
Chris Osborne: "The first day is always special, there's an excitement to the start of another grade for the kids, and a sweetness in the realisation of the kids growing older for the parents. "
Philip Stobbart: "Students see a new world through the medium of education. This is the view through a telescope demonstrating the optical effect known as Newton's Rings, whereby reflected light rays interfere with one another and produce a pattern."
Shea Wales: "People think of school days as sitting at a desk in a classroom. This summer during the backpacking section of my National Outdoor Leadership School course I discovered the best school days start at sunrise and end at sundown."
Jessica Dubeau: "Visiting an old-fashioned South Korean classroom our group decides to portray the universal student dynamic: teacher's pet, followed by class clown, quiet yet studious, and in the back row those who seem to have stayed up too late."
Megan Smallwood: "The arts and science class of 2014 is welcomed to Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, during Orientation Week."
Vicky Clarke: "We decided to build a fort in our sixth form common room in a free period. I'm the one on the left. It's a mixture of sofas, blankets and left-over fancy dress costumes. It was time well spent."
Maria de la Guardia: "Three girls gather after class to discuss their school day on the island of Lamu, Kenya." Next week's theme is My Home Town. To enter, send your pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org; follow the link below this gallery for more details.
