A40 in Carmarthenshire re-opens after six-vehicle crash

The A40 in Carmarthenshire was blocked in both directions around Tuesday lunchtime following an accident involving up to six vehicles.

The incident happened on a stretch between the B4310 at Nantgaredig and Carmarthen Road in Llandeilo.

The accident occurred near the Halfway Inn,.

Queues of traffic formed and travel between Carmarthen and Llandeilo was affected. The road re-opened at 12.45 BST, police said.
