Rotherslade Bay RNLI lifeguards pull bodyboarder from sea
RNLI lifeguards rescued a man from the sea who suffered neck and spinal injuries while bodyboarding off Gower.
The 46-year-old Swansea man was being washed on to rocks by large waves when rescuers went to his aid at Rotherslade Bay beach on Tuesday at 16:00 BST.
He was airlifted to the city's Morriston Hospital by a RAF Sea King helicopter crew who landed on the beach.
Lifeguards had brought the man to shore after spotting him in difficulty.
