Four people rescued after getting stuck off Llanelli coast

Two adults and two children had to be rescued after getting stuck on a sandbank off the coast of Llanelli.

Lifeboats from Burry Port and Loughor were called at 14:40 BST on Friday after the group got caught out by the rising tide approximately half a mile offshore.

Crews picked up the group and brought them back to land.

There were no injuries and no-one in the group needed medical treatment.
