Crash death soldier 'much loved by family and friends'

The family of a soldier who died after his motorbike was in a lorry collision in Pembrokeshire say he was "much loved by all his family and friends".

L/Cpl Jamie Stewart Fleming, 21, from Crediton, Devon, was based with the Royal Corps of Signals at Brawdy.

He died as the scene of the accident on the A487 Felindre Farchog to Cardigan road at about 13:40 BST on Friday.

His family said: "Jamie was extremely fit, both for his work and during leisure time."

L/Cpl Fleming had been in the army for four-and-a-half years and had served in Afghanistan.

In the statement released by Dyfed-Powys Police, his family added: "He had recently run a marathon in Ireland.

"He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him."
