Girl, 10, critical after collision in Haverfordwest

A 10-year-old girl is in a critical condition in hospital after a collision involving a vehicle in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, say Dyfed-Powys Police.

The collision on the A4076, Freemans Way, was reported to police at 12:22 GMT on Saturday.

Wales ambulance service said the youngster was taken to Withybush General Hospital in Haverfordwest.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 101.

The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
