Teenager dies after Boxing Day crash on A484, Carmarthenshire

A 19-year-old woman has died and a young child is in a critical condition following a crash in Carmarthenshire on Boxing Day.

The incident happened at about 13:17 GMT on the A484 between Llechryd and Cenarth when the car mounted a grass verge and collided with a stone wall.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the driver, who is from Cardigan, died at Glangwili hospital in Carmarthen on Sunday.

The child is at the University of Wales Hospital in Cardiff.

Dyfed-Powys Police said anyone who witnessed the collision can contact 101.
