Jayne Parker named as Swansea pedestrian collision victim

A pedestrian who died after a collision with a car in Swansea on Tuesday morning has been named.

Jayne Parker's family said she was a "supporting, caring loving person with a bubbly personality".

The incident happened at about 07:10 GMT on Sketty Lane, and the 47-year-old was taken to Morriston Hospital but later died of her injuries.

The driver of a silver Seat Leon was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and is on bail.

"Jayne was a very caring daughter and her life was all for her son. Nothing was ever too much trouble where he was concerned," a family statement said.

"She was always smiling and had so many friends."

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
