Man, 65, flown to hospital from Pembrokeshire Coast path

A 65-year-old man has been rescued from the Pembrokeshire Coast path.

The alert came in a call to ambulance control at 12:34 GMT on Saturday which said the man had suffered a stroke or possible heart attack at Pen-y-Cwm between Newgale and St Davids.

Coastguards teams from St Davids and Broadhaven were sent out along with a helimed air ambulance.

The man was carried to the helicopter before being airlifted to hospital.
