Five in hospital after Pentrefelin and Haverfordwest fires

Five people have been taken to hospital following two separate fires in south west Wales on Friday morning.

Crews were called to a kitchen fire in Pentrefelin near Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, at 04:00 GMT where a woman and two children were rescued.

Meanwhile, police officers rescued two people from a blaze, which started in the doorway and entrance hall of a property in Dew Street, Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire at around 06:45 GMT.

Both fires are being investigated.
