Woman dies after collision at Llangyfelach, Swansea

A pedestrian has died after a collision involving a pick-up truck and two parked vehicles in Swansea.

The 57-year-old woman was pronounced dead at hospital following the incident at Swansea Road, Llangyfelach, on Tuesday at 13:20 BST.

The driver of the Nissan Cabstar is helping police with inquiries after receiving hospital treatment for minor injuries.

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses.

The incident happened on Swansea Road near its junction with Heol Pentre Felin and the M4 J46 which was closed while investigation and recovery work took place.

People with information are asked to call the South Wales Police serious collision unit on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
