A48 Carmarthenshire two-lorry crash: One dies at Maesybont junction

One person has died in an early morning crash involving two lorries which shut part of the A48 in Carmarthenshire.

The crash was on the eastbound side at the Maesybont junction, near Cross Hands, at 05:56 BST on Thursday.

Investigators carried out inquiries at the scene where the 26-year-old died and the road has now re-opened after both lorries were recovered.

Dyfed-Powys Police asked anyone with information to call Carmarthen police station on 101.
