Flash flooding in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire

Flash flooding has affected homes in parts of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, say emergency services.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said about 15 properties had been flooded in Stepaside near Kilgetty, Whitland and Pendine.

Several crews tackled the flooding after first being called out at 15:00 GMT on Sunday.

There are no reports of any homes being evacuated.

Police said one lane of the M4 in south Wales - westbound between junctions 36 (Sarn) and 37 (Pyle) - was blocked due to flooding.

There was one flood warning, for the River Hydfron at Llanddowror in Carmarthenshire, and two flood alerts in place for Wales early on Sunday evening.
