M4 crash: Five hurt in collision near Port Talbot

Five people have been injured in a five-vehicle crash on the M4 motorway near Port Talbot.

The collision happened on the westbound carriageway between junction 38 (Margam) and junction 41 (Baglan) at around 11:40 BST on Friday.

The injured people were taken to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, as a precaution but their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

Traffic had to use the hard shoulder until all lanes reopened at 13:25 BST.
