Man dies after A48 one-car crash between Nantycaws and Pensarn

A man has died after a crash on the A48 road near Carmarthen on Saturday.

Police said the man, who was driving a Volkswagen Golf car at about 11:15 BST on Saturday morning, was involved in a single vehicle crash between Nantycaws and the Pensarn roundabout.

The dual carriageway was closed in both directions for a time while police investigated the incident.

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them on the 101 telephone number.
