Man dies after M4 Briton Ferry Bridge fall

A man who fell from the M4 Briton Ferry Bridge near Neath has died, police have said.

Officers are investigating after emergency services were called to the scene just before 09:30 GMT.

A westbound lane between junction 41 at Baglan and junction 42 at the Earlswood roundabout was closed for several hours causing some disruption.

South Wales Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His relatives have been informed.
