An e-fit image of a man suspected of a sex attack on a teenage girl in Carmarthenshire has been released by police.

A 17-year-old was sexually assaulted in Llanelli while walking home following a night out.

She was attacked in a lane on Capel Isaf Road at around 04:15 GMT on 21 January.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the assault was serious and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

The attacker, aged in his 20s, is described as being a white male with short dark hair, a round face and a large nose.

He was wearing a light coloured hooded top and dark coloured trousers.

"The victim has helped to create a CD-fit image of the man who attacked her," said Det Insp Gary Phillips, of Dyfed-Powys Police.

"Anyone who recognises the CD-fit or the description or has any information relating to the incident is asked to contact Llanelli CID on 101.
