Police appeal over 'hit and run' in Swansea

Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was hit by a Mini in central Swansea which then drove off.

Officers said a 31-year-old woman was taken to hospital with a back injury after the incident outside the South Wales Transport Club on St Helens Road.

She was standing next to a stationary taxi when she was hit by the passenger side wing mirror of the blue Mini at about 1725 BST on Wednesday.

Anyone with information should call the force's roads policing unit on 101.
