Man charged with murder after woman's body found in Usk

A man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found in Monmouthshire.
The discovery of the woman, named locally as Georgina Symonds, 25, was made at an address in Usk at about 05:50 GMT on Wednesday.
The man, 53, from Abergavenny, was arrested on suspicion of murder and later charged.
The cause of death is not yet known and a post mortem examination will be carried out.
Det Chf Insp Roger Forey from Gwent Police said: "This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family of the deceased at the time.
"Our investigation will establish exactly what happened and additional patrols will be taking place in the coming days to provide local residents of confidence and reassurance."
