Innovation group to create 77 jobs in Caerphilly

Nearly 80 jobs are to be created in Caerphilly at a firm which manages insurance claims.

Innovation Group Underground Services will be based at Caerphilly Business Park and hopes to create 77 jobs over two years.

It will specialise in claims relating to underground drainage.

The firm won £995,000 backing from the Welsh government, with Economy Minister Edwina Hart describing the deal as a "significant boost".

The Innovation Group employs more than 2,800 globally, with 650 in the UK, processing more than four million insurance claims annually.

Paul Irvin, managing director of Innovation Property UK, said: "After conducting a thorough review of the UK labour market, Wales was a perfect fit for us and we are looking forward to significantly developing and growing the business."
