A470 near Merthyr Tydfil reopens after two-car collision

The A470 near Merthyr Tydfil has reopened following a two-car crash on Monday evening.

The road shut between the A4054 (Merthyr Tydfil) and the A4059 (Nant-ddu) after the incident shortly before 16:30 BST.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent three crews from Merthyr Tydfil to help at the scene where one person was assessed by paramedics.

The road was opened to traffic again at around 18:50 BST.
