A fifth person arrested on suspicion of assault and violent disorder after three police officers were assaulted in Blaenau Gwent has been charged.
The officers needed hospital treatment after an incident in Market Square, Brynmawr, at about 01:00 BST last Monday.
The 31-year-old man is from Brynmawr.
He will appear in court on Thursday 3 July along with the four people previously charged in connection with the incident.
Gwent Police said the officers went to the square following a report of an attempted robbery.
While making an arrest, people unconnected to the alleged robbery became involved and the incident escalated to one of disorder, the police force said.
The officers were released after receiving treatment at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny.
