Appeal after biker in Bridgend seriously injured in crash

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash with two cars in Bridgend.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the collision which closed Quarella Road for four hours on Wednesday afternoon.

The man was airlifted to Morriston Hospital in Swansea with multiple injuries.

Another casualty was taken to hospital in Bridgend by ambulance but the extent of those injuries is not known.

South Wales Police said the crash, involving a purple Honda bike, a silver Hyundai and a blue Vauxhall Astra, happened at 16:45 BST.

The force asked witnesses to call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
