Woman airlifted to hospital after Ystrad Deri car fire

A woman has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a car caught fire in Blaenau Gwent.
Police, fire and ambulance services attended the fire at about 13:44 BST in Dukestown Road, Ystrad Deri, Tredegar.
The ambulance service sent two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance and air ambulance and said a female had been flown to Morriston Hospital, Swansea.
It is thought only one vehicle was involved, and a fire investigation officer has attended.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent two water ladders from Tredegar and Ebbw Vale and a rescue tender, also from Ebbw Vale.
