Aberdare to Abercynon line reopens after lorry hits bridge

Rail lines between Aberdare and Abercynon in the Cynon Valley have reopened after earlier disruption caused when a lorry became stuck under a railway bridge.

The incident happened close to Abercynon train station at around 10:30 BST on Friday morning.

Ynysmeurig Road has also now reopened after earlier being closed in both directions.

The lorry was freed from the bridge after having its tyres deflated.
