Two "career drug dealers" have been jailed for a total of 13 years after officers found crack cocaine hidden in their Cardiff flat.

Police found 29 packets of the class A drug, along with cannabis and cash at brothers Colin Richards and Jason Law's home in Riverside.

Law, 32, admitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and cannabis at Cardiff Crown Court.

Richards, 38, was found guilty of the same charges after a trial.

Police went to the flat after they caught Richards dealing drugs.

A search of the home uncovered the drugs underneath a makeshift welcome mat at the bottom of the stairs, and £1,388 in a Gucci bag.

Det Cons Sean Hardy, from South Wales Police, said Richards and Law were "career drug dealers" from London who had based themselves in Cardiff to supply class-A drugs.

"Their sentences should be a deterrent to anyone thinking of getting involved in the supply of these harmful drugs particularly those foolish enough to travel to south Wales to establish their drugs business," he added.
