Cross border search for missing Khalil Fawzy from Northern Ireland

A joint police operation has been carried out at Cardiff docks following the disappearance of a man in Northern Ireland.

South Wales Police, UK Border Agency, coastguard and the Police Service of Northern Ireland are investigating the report of the missing person from County Down.

Khalil Fawzy, 34, was last seen on Newry Road, Warrenpoint Harbour, at around 16:45 BST on Sunday.

Witnesses should ring 101.

It follows reports of a heavy police presence in Cardiff docks on Tuesday afternoon.

Mr Khalil was last seen wearing dark jeans and a dark top.
