Bus crash in Llanishen, Cardiff The bus came to rest on the pavement at the Cardiff tax offices

A bus has crashed into the railings at the tax office in Llanishen, Cardiff.

One person has received minor injuries, and has been taken to hospital.

One lane of Ty Glas Avenue has been closed following the crash which happened at about 18:15 GMT.

The bus was empty apart from the driver when it crashed in and was returning to its depot, South Wales Police said. Emergency services were at the scene.

A Cardiff Bus spokesperson said: "We're aware of an incident that took place earlier this evening on Ty Glas Avenue.

"We are assisting the relevant authorities."
