Brynmenyn bungalow blaze under investigation

An investigation has been launched to find the cause of a bungalow fire near Bridgend.

Four fire engines were called to Brynmenyn on Saturday at 13:06 GMT as the property was "well alight".

The fire has caused extensive damage. There were no reports of anyone being hurt.

Police were called to the scene to help move parked vehicles for crews from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service to get better access.

Firefighters from Bridgend, Pontycymmer, Cowbridge tackled the blaze with two water bowsers from Kenfig and Barry.
