Woman pulled from River Taff, Cardiff, after 'assault' by two men

A woman has been pulled from the River Taff in Cardiff after witnesses reported she was assaulted by two men.

South Wales Police said the woman was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in the city after an incident in the Grangetown area.

Her condition is not known. Two men are helping police with their inquiries.

Insp Andy Walbeoff, who described the incident as "serious", said: "At this stage we're not looking for any other persons that may be involved."
