Bridgend crash: Three injured as car hits lamppost on A4063

Three people have been injured and a disabled child has been cut free by firefighters after a car crashed into a lamppost near Bridgend.

Emergency services were called to the incident on the A4063 near Bridgend Paper Mills at 15:38 GMT on Sunday.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said a man had suspected spinal injuries and a woman and child were walking wounded.

A disabled child was freed from the vehicle by fire crews.

Firefighters from Bridgend and Maesteg attended along with the air ambulance.
